The "Belt and Road Rural Revitalization Working Committee" is a think tank organization initiated and established by direct affiliates and expert leaders of relevant units such as the Belt and Road International Circular Economy Development Organization, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the National Rural Revitalization Bureau, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Belt and Road Big Data Center.
It is mainly engaged in the liaison work of domestic and international research institutions on issues related to "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers," organizing multidisciplinary research efforts, coordinating research on the development of agricultural and rural industries, and providing exchange services for scientific research achievements.
It primarily undertakes theoretical research on rural revitalization, providing theoretical foundations and decision-making consultation for the rural revitalization strategy and urban-rural integration construction; the practical promotion of rural revitalization experience models; as well as auxiliary work on the analysis of the situation of "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers," rural cooperative economy, international supply and marketing, common prosperity, rural homestead management, and rural reform.
